Shave a Lid for a Kid Cancer Fundraiser :)

Posted by Friend 2 Friend on June 24, 2009

Hello folks,

Our son, Joshua, has decided to “Shave his lid for a Kid” this Friday at a school ceremony. It’s a head-shaving ceremony to raise money for Kids Cancer Care. Josh is trying to be the biggest fundraiser at his school, so any donation will help, $5, $10, $1000 (LOL). It’s kind of a big deal for us as well because Josh has autism, so to sit in a gym full of cheering kids and adults whilst getting his head shaved is a very tough thing to do, but he’s willing to do it for charity. Woohoo!

Thanks for reading. Have an amazing, adventurous summer. Here’s the link if you’re able to donate.

Gratefully yours,
The Gibbs Family
